Vertical Curtains: (Premium & Commercial Vertical Curtains)
Step 1: Identify Your Track Type
Accurate measurements ensure proper installation, smooth operation, and full privacy coverage. Follow the steps below to measure your healthcare space correctly.
Determine Your Track Configuration
Before measuring, identify the shape of your ceiling-mounted track:
- Straight Track Installed along one wall
- L-Shaped Track Installed in corner spaces
- U-Shaped Track Wraps around a patient bed (most common in wards)
Important: Important: Do not make any deductions for width or height. All necessary adjustments are handled during production.
Measure the Track Length (Width)
Use a measuring tape to measure the full length of the installed track from one end to the other.
- Measure the entire track path
- Follow the curves if it is U-shaped
- Record measurement in meters or feet
Important: Important: This measurement determines the total curtain width required.
Measure the Drop (Height)
- Measure from bottom of the curtain track to the desired curtain end point
- Curtains should typically stop 15–20 cm above the floor
- Avoid letting curtains touch the ground for hygiene reasons
Consider Fabric Fullness
Hospital curtains are not flat panels. They require extra fabric for proper coverage.
- Allow for Proper Fullness
- Recommended fullness ratio: 1.5x – 2x the track length
- If your track is 3 meters long, curtain fabric width should be 4.5–6 meters.
Confirm Installation Details
Before placing your order, confirm:
- Track type (Straight / L / U)
- Manual or motorized system
- Ceiling height
- Power source location (for motorized systems)
- Number of beds or cubicles
